Regency Shoes & Boots
Regency flat shoes – Pointy toe flats, squared toe flats, ballet flats and ballet shoes can work well for the Regency era. Those with leather soles are excellent Regency dance shoes.
Regency dancing shoes – You will need a leather sole for good Regency era dancing shoes. Flats or small heel pumps are usually best. I like shoes with laces that tie up the leg for more stability.
Bridgerton shoes – The popular Netflix series has ladies in Regency inspired modern shoes and boots, similar to those found on this page.
Jane Austen Shoes – Shoes worn by Jane Austen and her book characters. Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Northanger Abby, Persuasion, Mansfield Park and Sanditon, to name a few.
Regency shoes reproduction – There are only a few companies that make reproduction Regency era shoes and boots. Even then, certain modifications are made to make them more comfortable for today’s modern foot. Quality is reflected in the price and reviews.
