When you want to dress in 1920s style men’s clothing as accurately as possible, the choices are few. However, many brands are now creating 1920s vintage inspired men’s suits, casual clothes, and workwear clothing at a few price points. The following list should help you locate most men’s 1920s reproduction clothing brands and websites as well as vintage inspired brands. Most of these brands also sell 1910s and 1930s men’s reproduction clothing too.

Premier Clothing – Men’s Edwardian (1890s to 1920) detachable collars. Order one half size up for comfort.
Darcy Clothing (UK) – Specializes in shirts and collars up to the 1940s. They also carry some trousers, suits, workwear, underwear, pajamas, and fabrics by the yard. Quality is authentic, and made to last.
Levi’s Vintage Clothing – Made from original Levi’s patterns from 1900-1970s. They occasionally have denim jeans from the 1920s.
Some Like it Holy (UK) – 1920s+ shirts (club collar), collarless shirts, trousers, and vests.
Fogey Unlimited (UK) – Vintage and reproduction brands of men’s underwear, shirt collars, sock garters, braces, bags, and accessories.
1920s Men’s Vintage Inspired Clothing
Clothing brands that take vintage garments but update them with newer materials and fit. Some are “classic fit” brands, not necessarily inspired by the 1920s, but they’re close enough with lower prices.
Bykowski Tailor and Garb – Bespoke men’s 1900s-1920s rustic clothing, hats, shoes, and leather goods with a modern fit. Made in the USA.
Repeal Club – Inspired 1920s to 1940s men’s tailored clothing with a modern fit. Trousers, suits, vests, and accessories. Some styles can work for the 1910s as well.
Paul Fredrick / Amazon – Classic men’s clothing. I recommend their shirts (club collars), suits and trousers (they fit higher on the waist than most modern brands).
SJC, Simon James Cathcart – Reproduction 1930s clothing. Some jackets, trousers, knitwear and shirts can be 1920s too.
Gentlemen’s Emporium – Men’s Victorian clothing can work for the 1920s, especially workwear/western.
Scully (Amazon) – Victorian to early Edwardian, wild west or workwear trousers. Shirts can work for early 1920s workwear/westernwear.

L.L.Bean– They sometimes have reproduction shirts and coats made from their archives. Search for “signature,” “heritage” or “classic.”
Natty Shirts – Made to order dress shirts. The Spearpoint collar shirt is a classic late ’20s and ’30s style for a very reasonable price.
Revival Vintage (UK) – Men’s dress and casual shirts, vests and trousers.
Dehen 1920 – Since 1920, making heavy knitwear, jackets, workwear, hats.
Madewell – Some men’s workwear inspired clothing, western denim, etc. Trendy but decent quality.
Pike Brothers (UK) – Vintage menswear, focused on workwear to casual menswear.
Uniqlo – I hear decent reviews for Uniqlo’s basics. T-shirts, underwear, undershirts. Some trendy workwear.
Orvis – Men’s outdoor sportswear. The wools and tweed are classic and timeless. Sportscoats, breeks, sweaters, pants, boots.
Michael Ross Knitwear – Handmade Fair Isle sweaters.

Men’s USA – A giant collection of imported suits, tuxedos, pants, and shirts that work well for the 1920s to 1940s wide leg, pinstripe, and zoot suit men’s looks. Cheap prices. You may not get the exact item listed, but a close proximity.
Haggar – This well known brands its technically vintage but I often find some trousers, sweater vests, and shirts in classic cuts and prints.
Ralph Lauren Double RL – Vintage menswear-inspired clothing. Many workwear styles but also some dapper suits.
Labour Union 1986 (China)- Small batch workwear and casual clothing made and shipped from China. Sizing charts are complicated, email customer service with your measurements before ordering.
Huckberry – Men’s multi brand workwear and casual outdoor styles. Jackets, knitwear, shirts. Not much specifically for the 1920s but good overall vintage options.

Shoes, Hats and Accessories
Harr Shoes (DE/UK)- Historical custom shoemaker for theater and the general public. Also Men’s dance shoes from a variety of brands.
Converse – Just like Keds, Converse All Stars sporty high tops and low tops are vintage classics!
Johnson and Murphy – Since 1850, they have made classic men’s shoes. Oxfords, wingtips, saddles, patent formals, lace-up boots, sandals, and more. Wide widths, too.
G.H. Bass – Since 1876, they have made classic men’s shoes. They usually have a great two-tone saddle shoe and loafer in their regular line.

Frye Boots – They can be found at far better prices on other retailers or on eBay.
Red Wing Boots – Famous among BIFL circles. Best purchased on sale or secondary sites.
